Looks like some of the best scenes from the History Channel’s Bible mini-series.
My initial thoughts include:
- I like the Portuguese actor who portrayed Jesus. He has a nice regal quality.
- The scene with Matthew the tax collector is incredibly moving and powerful.
- I like the restatement of Matthew 4:19 in Jesus now says: “We are going to change the world.”
- The end of the trailer makes me laugh when Jesus says “I Am Coming Soon.” Definitely a double meaning: the movie is coming soon, and the I AM is coming soon. 🙂
